Monster Party

watchable

While it leaves a lot to be desired in terms of plot & characters, there's a good bit to like. The performances are fine, the low-budget charm is there, & it genuinely does a good job of subverting expectations & doing things differently than most like it. However, that doesn't exactly make up for all the iffier things. A super corny ending, strange character decisions, repetitive & boring kills, & some horrendous dialogue in places all drag it down a lot. It's watchable, but nothing special.
