Poor & envious of rich people, Asokan (Sreenivasan) lives a mundane life with his family. In a twist of fate, Asokan inherits some land from his late sister, which is now being sought by a construction firm who had paid some advance cash for it. Sensing opportunity, he takes advantage of the firm & becomes a freeloader. Egged on by his neighbor Onachan (Nedumudi), Asokan also gets the idea of having a fling & tries to woo a young girl Rupa (Aishwarya Nambiar) for it, all with disastrous results. (Summary by iceblox)
