Sex sells. No one denies that. So in the restricted era a dramatized sex-education film ended to being one of the highest grossing films of the 1940s! Dry and unexciting drama done at poverty row with barely any budget, with added educational shorts included, like child birth with a very graphic shot at a cesarean chop-job and general info on STD. Absolutely a cinema curio, and absolutely a DUD, except at the box office!

The infamous road-show perennial -- a "Vital Educational Production Appealing To All True Americans" -- that opens with a "Star-Spangled Banner" sing-along(!) before getting into the plot. Best remembered for its lengthy childbirth inserts, "shocking" enough to keep the pic on the road-show and grindhouse circuits for nearly two decades.
