Molli and Max in the Future

I loved this. The low budget doesn't hold it back, and I think gives it a charming old sci-fi feel. Wonderful chemistry between the two leads while they're delivering heartfelt/funny/snappy/clever/realistic dialogue. And that's what this movie needed because the camera doesn't move. It's not The Shape of Romcoms to Come, in that it doesn't alter the formula, but the sci-fi aesthetics and little lore tidbits allow it to be playful and FUN with the central romcom conceit.
