Miss Susie Slagle's

Mainly underwhelming, but in a way I found a lot of it charming. I guess the main reason for that was Lillian Gish role as mentoring these medical students. Felt like the first role she's had in talkies that actually had a purpose. Veronica Lake, o the other hand, was wasted and was there just to give the movie some name value. One of the odd leading men at the time, Sonny Tufts, did alright, but he was never the type to totally convince anyone.
