Subat 2013, Rotterdam Film Fest '13 & Benim açımdan Yeşilçam Türk Sineması'nı anımsatan klişeler ile dolu olay örgüsünün retro bir görüntü ve kurgu ile birleştirilmesinden öte bir iş değildi. Zengin malzeme sunan konusundan ve etkileyici olabilecek atmosferinden, hantal senaryosu ve sahteliğini seyirciye hissettiren retro tarzi sebebiyle yararlanamamış bir hayal kırıklığıydı.
