A little girl who got ill from eating too much Apple Pie and ended up the subect of this formulaic "sick child film", where Motherhood is represented by Mum screaming at useless doctors until she finds a good one (with the added bonus of a funny tie). He is still useless however, so God decided that the only way to cure the girl was throw her down a tree. That seemed to work ok. Presumably, the other 15,000 kids who die everyday were either not as cute as kylie Rogers, or didnt live near a tree.

Pretty cringy, but not unwatchable. Kylie Rodgers was scary good as Anna, especially in the scenes where she was sick. Rest of the cast was serviceable. And while I can't say I "get this" in any meaningful sense of the words, taking a stroll outside my ehcochamber is good for me, dammit!

Other than an emotionally driven plot this film serves up very little in the way of making us interested in the overall message. A good movie to watch if you dont want to offend anyone but not a real conversation starter.

Sorry, but can't give good note to a movie so empty that the synopsis has to spoil the ending of the movie.

Saw this a while back. Another one with the element of belief in something supernatural and that will always divide the audience. I liked it. Little Kylie Rogers was great in this. *Good

This movie feels very American Christian and it's not really my thing. I suppose it is an inspirational movie that can give you hope, but it does not feel real to me. Acting is alright, but that is about it. Can't say I'm gonna watch this one ever again. 42/100.

Formulaic Christian movie. Supposedly based on a real story.

This is a very human-feeling drama that's still all about God's priorities, God's choices and God's timing. The filmmakers quietly take on the role of dramatic chroniclers, saying, as softly as Anna does, Here's what happened and what we believe. You think it through and come along when and if you will. Watch the trailer for Miracles from Heaven - it tells you the entire story - and then decide if you want to see more of that, but with a significantly longer portion dedicated to a sick child, as well as a bunch of preachy scenes. The full version is a largely dull movie that winds up having questionable takeaways, dropped subplots, sloppy editing, mediocre-to-bad acting, and a skeptical "true" story that one can tell in just a couple of minutes.
