Midnight

Terrible acting, terrible dialogue, terrible cinematography. It was hard to sit through.

A HIGHLY moralistic presentation about the dilemma of the death penalty and psychology based around a murder case. The acting is more for the stage then the camera as it gets too wooden to really grip you emotionally. It's an interesting concept movie they way it's laid out, but it's a fairly poor production, mostly due to the acting. What this movie is most known for is that it features Humphrey Bogart before he was a big movie star. Only a brief, but central part in the plot.

Very dated with stilted dialogue. It probably is only avaliable because of an early fairly brief appearance of Humphrey Bogart. It is quite an interesting premise but there are many more worthwhile, better written and acted films from the 1930's if you are so inclined.
