Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas

Pleasant enough but rather bland.

This is what my October looks like now with kids, this and stupid amount of horror films to keep me going.

Watching a Christmas movie in February because why not? Not necessarily the most quality, kinda mediocre/bad, but it feels nostalgic even if I didn’t grew up with it. The Mickey short is the best one, then Goofie’s (I don’t like the “Santa is real” massage, it’s stupid, but overall it is the funniest one), and then the Donald Duck’s nephews, the most boring and repetitive

Rating on a "beloved childhood holiday tradition" curve, the three short works are each delightful in their own way and do a wonderful job at communicating their true meaning of the season message. My favorite is of course Goofy and Max's story. Rarely have I ever been so impacted by such an honest on-screen father and son relationship.

Pleasant but mothing too exciting

The Disney characters, style, sight gags, et al. have hardly changed a bit since the 30s. You've seen all this before, and you don't want to see it again
