Mickey

A convoluted story that is also very thin, the worst of both worlds. Normand is fun enough, some segments might make fun little comedy shorts, but they are only flashes in an otherwise forgettable drawn out affair.

Mostly banks on two things: Mabel Normand's ability to be a fun and appealing presence (always a pretty safe bet), and a wide variety of really nice settings, both indoors and out. A varied and likable enough feature for the day, with comedy and action elements mixed in at times, although the plot's pretty thin and predictable.

This isn't a funny movie. With a story as blurry as its YouTube presentation, a total lack of Normand, or anybody, being in any kind of situation that is either 1. Funny, 2. Emotional or 3. Logically tied to any other situation in the movie, I strongly suggest that if you have curiosity for this one, you'd best pack it up and give up before you begin.
