Maybe it's bc the lead is a stereotype & our Leftist culture has spent decades convincing everyone that any minority stereotype is immoral & has no basis in reality that I've never heard about this 8(!!!) film franchise & the very funny comedy duo of Velez & Leon Errol, but this old comedy still made me LOL several times. It's a Three's Company-like farce and it's unfortunate this isn't better known as Velez is like a precursor to Lucy & the Left would love her independence & agency.

Leon Errol wasn't always the funniest comedian, but for some reason teaming with the Mexican Spitfire (1940) Lupe Velez brings out the best of them! What a party this second installment of the series is! Errol as a eccentric Englishman and Velez as temperamental as she can be as a rival invades her union with the bland cluck Donald Woods. Food fight!!!!
