An astoundingly misassembled movie, but baffling enough to be compelling - especially the parts that have this weirdly abstracted Frodo-wearing-the-Ring sensibility about them. Unfortunately, the amount of aimless walking makes the interestingly baffling parts far too spread-out, making this 80-minute movie feel painfully padded. If it had more of the gleefully cheesy parts, it might qualify as a cult classic.

Cheesy amalgam of Mad Max and Star Wars by Band, who actually showed some promise as a competent b movie stylist in his early days before betraying it for cheap assembly line schlock. This is cheap schlock too, but it's slightly more ambitious than the films he made after the 80's, especially in its use of colour, which is strongly reminiscent of his Italian contemporaries.Thomerson is always good for a laugh, intentionally or not, and the psychadelic Tron inspired chase scene is charmingly crap.

Laughably bad post-apocalyptic cheesefest. Very much in the mold of Italian genre movies from around the same time, but with a lot less misogyny and the violence toned down to kid-friendly levels. But it still has its share of burly big-haired men in leather battling mutants with molded-plastic body armour, and tacky armoured vehicles driving (and flying) across desert landscapes. Brainless fun.
