I liked Make Me a Star (1932) and I also liked this "modern upgrade" starring Red Skelton, featuring the last big role of the stone-faced beauty Virginia O'Brien. The story is one of those overly-hammy Hollywood parodies about a small town boy dreaming of becoming a Hollywood star and making it in the most absurd fashion possible. The comedy doesn't always land, but there are some absolute brilliant moments it!
