Men of Ireland

A rare Irish film from those classic years with simple island charms and a few Irish ballads to make it as Irish as they could. Very romantic about it's local surroundings. Thin plotted. It's that, the basic way it's shot and the natural acting that makes it almost seem like a documentary. Almost a ambiance piece. I'm still unsure how it appreciate it, for a lot of it feels primitive and dull until the climax at sea, yet there is a heart here, just not so much talent or money put into it.
