For a low budget musical from Monogram it does look alright as far as being a standard. However, even if Eddie Quillan & Mary Beth Hughes were likable in this, Melody Parade (1943) is a pretty pointless one with a lot of acts I wasn't exactly eager to see perform. At least they gave exposure to some lesser acts from the war period.
