Damn this is great. One of the craziest Horror and Fantasy anime Mixes I have ever seen.

Interesting collection of shorts worth checking out. The first is mostly a surrealist mood piece without much depth, but the second has style and drive (heh), and the third is a great work of almost Kafkaesque human-AI interaction.

the first film/ending was a pleasant visual journey that connects the stories. the second was kind of cool but doesn't amount to much. the third a story of robots' dedication and futility

There is definitely some deep thoughts, but it not so easy to catch them, at least for an ordinary man like me :)

Neo Tokyo disappointed me greatly after how good Memories was. The opening short is some clever framework but ultimately a mishmash of surrealism with no attainable direction to it, the middle segment is a sci-fi racing thriller but the bland visuals don't match the supposed intensity, and the final segment is a nerdy Japanese man yelling at a robot until the end. Nothing interesting, but the attempt to be is there.

Three interesting short films. They are a feast for the eyes, definitely innovative. The second one, Running Man, is heavily influenced by Blade Runner.
