Meiji, taisho, showa ryoki onna hanzaishi

A doctor trying to reconcile his wife's suicide acts as a framing device for this anthology, as he looks through various criminal cases where love was the supposed motive. The stories include a murdering hotel owner, a serial rapist, and the obligatory staging of Sada Abe's infamous genital mutilation (with a cameo by the real life Sada Abe, in her 60's). Sleazy stuff from Teruo Ishii, it's chock full of tits and violence, and fits right in with his Joy of Torture series.
