With the success of the Dr. Kildare series, it was only as matter of time before other medical series would pop up. And here comes Dr. Christian! The last legacy of the great Danish character actor Jean Hersholt, playing the part 6 times between 1939-41, before fading out his career on screen. Meet Dr. Christian (1939) is a pleasant but unimportant family movie. Young Patsy Parsons steals the show being naughty-sweet giving the boys the measles to manipulate the skirt-chasing going on in town.
