Seems like probably the most worthwhile of the many adaptations of the book. Accidentally checked out the 1974 musical with Gene Wilder first, not advised. Pretty good lo-fi/high-camp surrealist effects from behind the iron curtain and manages to capture an odd Russian version of French ennui.
