Matches: An Appeal

This was a nicely done piece of stop motion animation

A stop motion ad featuring a matchstick figure (held together with wire), urging viewers to donate toward shipments of free matches for soldiers in the Boer war. Cooper was one of the very first to take up stop motion animation after Blackton, and continued to specialize in it for the next decade or so.

Very nice idea.
