When Bob Dylan calls you, the first thing you do is agree to be in whatever it is he's asking you to do no matter what. The second thing you do is say, "What?" The third thing you do is say, "What? I still didn't get that." Fourth thing, "Oh, mmmhhmmm." Fifth, "Yeah, no. Um, there's some interference, I think maybe I'm in a tunnel or something. Yeah, good to talk to you Bob."

When you see the all-star cast of this film, you think, Wow. Then when you watch the movie, one scene reflects what you observed. It's the man eating chicken.

A total mess that may be interesting to some in terms of Dylan but not enjoyable at all.

A strong interest in Bob Dylan is a prerequisite. I have none. Nor do I have interest in pretentious, messy storylines and bad cinematography. The only positive is the incredible cast which unfortunately is mostly wasted.

I really don't know what to rate this movie. I understand that Dylan was trying to tell us something and whilst acknowledging the man's genius, I can't say I was captivated or moved by this. Maybe after some re-watches...

Not the best movie in the world, but an interesting story line, and it's nice to see Bob Dylan expanding his already huge entertainment resume. The music alone is worth seeing the movie.
