Mare Nostrum

Mare Nostrum is powerful story from director Rex Ingram, but it also drags in quite a few scenes bringing it down to sea level again. The story is about a boat captain who gets fooled by a beautiful spy to help their cause in the Mediterranean Sea.... which ends tragic. Nicely shot and the actors are good picks. A little on the long side compared to what was happening, but otherwise a fine silent movie experience.
