Italian films are often chatty, but this may be the chattiest one I've seen. Sometimes it was hard to keep up with the subtitles. It's really good and funny text, before and after the lovebirds start their constant bickering, penned by the top screenwriters of the day. But then, it may be slightly overwritten - which is why I don't count it among my very favorite Pietrangelis.
