Manorama Six Feet Under

I legitimately love how this movie is shot but the movie is paced slowly paying off to a script that was underwhelming. For as hard hitting and grounded it wanted to be about its drama I don't think it lands on anything thematically or narratively interesting and the antagonists of the movie are so cartoonishly vile I'd probably laugh at them if they weren't covered by how the film depicts itself. The twists pushing the plot forward also lead to me rolling my eyes at times.
