Varikkuzhiyil Asokan Nair (Mukesh), an unemployed man struggling to support a large extended family, gets a lifeline when he hears that a long-lost uncle who had run off decades ago & who had made it big in Maduranthakam, Tamil Nadu had expressed a desire to get his daughter Rajavalli married to Asokan, before he passed away.
