The kind of purposefully bad movie that doesn't trip over its own feet in an attempt to be cool and marketable [coughkungfurycough] but delivers that delicious anything-goes B-Movie entertainment you crave. Thanks to the odd-smelling smokey haze in my living room it was way too easy to interpret this as Megaman, Liu Kang, Guile and Ayane from DOA teaming up to fight the baddies from DOOM, making this feel like the videogame crossover event movie I never knew I needed. #1 Man was AMAZING.

In a dystopian future where the world is ruled by the armies of Hell and their leader, the demonic vampire Count Draculon, humanity cries out for a hero...and that hero is Manborg. Shot almost entirely in front of a green screen, this micro budget Canadian feature is ridiculously bad but has tongue firmly planted in cheek throughout, making it a heck of a lot of cheesy fun. Picture Edward Scissorhands mixed with Tokyo Gore Police, with bits of cheap animation spliced in. It's lovely.

Good for the wrong reasons. Wrong for the good reasons. Bad for reasons. But despite it all, I still caught myself laughing out loud as many times as I groaned. It is fortunate that the soldier was more man than borg. Had it been the other way around, they would have had to call him Borgman, and everyone would've thought he was just some dude from Austria. See my review for Borgman.

Deliciously shitty and campy with bad CGI and green screen effects. I loved it. Laughed a lot and watching this with company adds to a great viewing experience. The voice of the Asian guy is hysterical. Just don't expect a lot and be swepped away by the pure, awesome and beautiful shittiness

"Hey Bro, it's me, your brother. I just wanted to say you did great out there...there is no heaven." Astron 6 is the future.

Repeatedly fails to keep a straight face which is kinda tautological in terms of comedy but still displays numerous genuinely charming elements and weirdly enough hangs together as a feature, kinda. Still reserved about this whole post-modern parody & unchecked nostalgia but this definitely takes steps in the right direction. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't grinning like an idiot in parts. The hilarious after-credit scene makes a good case for this stuff being confined to a shorter format.

Intentionally some of the worst stuff you'll see. And therefore absolutely beautiful.

Well I didn't have any expectations going in, but this movie definitely exceeded all of my expectations. I do like B-movies, but I'm not a fanatic. This movie kept me constantly engaged, even though there were many points where I rolled my eyes at the dialog and acting. This movie doesn't surpass Robocop in any way, but it does seem like a little more tongue-in-cheek than the movie it was giving homage. It's fun. If you have an hour or so to watch a fun stupid comedy/action movie. Enjoy.

This is a stupid movie, because it sets out to evoke the sort of movies that were cheap imitations of Robocop, The Terminator, and The Road Warrior (and NOT to imitate the originals)...and it succeeds wonderfully! It should have been good once for a quick laugh, yet inexplicably I find myself watching it again and again. I love this film for no good reason, and it leaves me wanting to watch more movies. Be sure to stay for the trailer at the end.
