Man of the Moment

British screwball comedy American-style! This was during the period Douglas Fairbanks Jr. worked mainly in England, but this also has Laura La Plante in her final movie before retiring. She was starting to age, and it shows. However she's got plenty of personality and that's what makes this movie so fun. She even dresses in male clothes in this one looking quite slick in a lesbian kind of way. The sense of humor is very British. Dark/light comedy about suicide in that jolly British way.
