Basically a Chang: A Drama of the Wilderness (1927) for the sound era done by the Hungarian great Pál Fejös. He had a weird career, making classics in silent Hollywood, then stunning sound films in Germany before turning his attention to Asia finishing off his career making documentaries there. This was one of those, in cooperation Svensk Filmindustri & Gunnar Skoglund. Not as exciting as it's silent relative, but a interesting look into old Thailand, showing the hardship of life in the jungle
