Ann Sothern's "Maisie" meets Red Skelton! And that becomes a interesting comic blend. Further strengthen by fine support from Allen Jenkins & Leo Gorcey, toned down a notch from their more snappy 30s style of acting, making things both warm-hearted and more natural. A good thing because Red Skelton's comedy was less that subtle, to say the least. An enjoyable feel-good entry.
