Magazine Dreams

Despite its flaws, “Magazine Dreams” is still worth watching for Jonathan Majors’ jaw-dropping performance. The film would not have worked with a lesser actor, and his portrayal of Killian Maddox is undeniably one of the most impressive male performances of the decade so far. However, the film’s derivative nature and meandering journey mean it falls short of greatness.
