Madame Sin

After Davis's previous movie, "Bunny O'Hare", I approached this with some trepidation. I needn't have worried. Quite entertaining, well-written (though the plot is quite silly), and the best-looking TV movie I think I've ever seen (it was made for TV as a pilot for a series that never materialized, then shown in theaters abroad). Bette Davis is clearly having a great time with her evil-villainess role--she's near perfect . Robert Wagner is just right as the patsy, and Denholm Elliott is superb.
