Mad Heidi

If you can suffer through the absolute insanity of it, there is a few laughs to be had. Don't get me wrong, this is one of the worst pieces of garbage every made. But amid the multitude of comedy attempts, they managed to make me belly laugh at least once. Mostly due to the absurdity of it.

Workable remake of Kenneth Longueur's classic Le Fromage Grand (1970). You've seen it all before, and the digital footage makes everything look cheaper than old 16mm, but it's hard not to be a little fond ue it.

Heidi is a badass warrior who has to fight a cackling Casper Van Dien and his endless horde of cheese nazis? OK. This is a fun little crowdfunded film made with zero studio input by a dedicated group of independent filmmakers. It's intentions are noble (a legit, gory exploitation film in 2022), and the execution is mostly decent, but this movie ultimately fails to rise above the level of "pretty good". It's a fun time while it lasts but it won't stick long in the memory.

Over the top silliness.

On leur avait promis un putain de divertissement, les gens ont financé un navet. Apparemment, il est plus facile en Suisse de planquer de l'argent, plutôt que de l'utiliser. Mauvais goût total en commençant sur une Heidi nue, tartinée de son bon prince noir, heureusement ce personnage ridicule disparaît assez vite. Seul intérêt; le grand blond éternel charmeur Casper Van Dien survêtement, claquettes assorties, en dictateur. Nul, mal fait, mal monté, effets spéciaux et combats pourris.
