An FDA meat inspector on the take with her family's local owned meat-packing plant gets more than she bargained for when she finds out she has mad-cow disease after eating illicit import meat from the plant. In a desperate attempt to find religion, nirvana, or any other form of after-life enlightenment and failing at every local religious institution, she turns to drugs; ending in an induced murderous rampage. Top badass moment? The Ten Tigers From Kwangtung, although they're tragically underused. The punk guitar riff that’s played over the (short) opening credits is great as well, along with the sound design. Sadly, the humour was so dark I don’t think I could see most of it and the story has less structure than the contents of my washing machine when I first open the door to take stuff out. Even Pavel Chekov couldn’t rescue things. And yes, meat is bad. 3 decapitations, no cats or chainsaws.
