Macross Plus

a 90s classic that feels cramped due to being 4 episodes cut together but the scifi aesthetic is still amazing. part top gun, part gibson's Idoru all anime, the best moments when the creators go wild with the holographic songstress that molds its audience perceptionit sucks most clips with the manga edition dub have been hit with copyright so you can't listen to bryan cranston doing anime noises

A great sci-fi anime film with roots in the Robotech series, Macross Plus has superb animation,a decent english dub cast which includes Bryan Cranston,Steve blum,Richard Epcar and Beau Billingslea and to top it all off, a music score done by Yoko Kanno. It's definitely worth checking out if you're an anime fan.

Really enjoyed this--your enjoyment may hinge on how much anime you can stand, but if you liked Cowboy Bebop, you will definitely enjoy this.

If you're a fan of anime (especially the Robotech series and its offspring) this is a must see. The story line is just ok, but the animation is where this film shines.

one of my favorites of the tenth grade. How awesome it was back then keeps it in the tenth tier.
