M.F.A.

Eastwood has learned a thing or two from Dad, both when it comes to dealing out bloody justice and acting in squints, smirks and growls; her face is the star here. Plotwise it gets a lot right, uses humour well both to undercut and amp up the tension, takes apart the rape-and-revenge plot and can almost put it back together, even if the last act has some loose threads and the art theme feels underdeveloped.

The acting was good though.
