Lynn + Lucy

Simmering slow-burn of a domestic drama has some potentially interesting things to say about "cancel culture" (albeit in the micro rather than macro), but becomes frustrating and tedious because Scrimshaw's Lynn is presented as such a closed-off cypher; the central relationships are never fleshed out, leaving the abrupt change in attitudes in the second half making very little sense. The point is clear and well-made, but the narrative doesn't really set it up properly.
