Unlike any Lupin film I've ever seen, and I've seen most of them. The whole look and feel of the film took some time to get used to but once I did I enjoyed myself immensely. Goemon is often under used in the movie and shows so it was awesome to see him get center stage.

The second follow up movie for "The Woman called Mine Fujiko" goes all the way with honor and bloodshed. Not only is this tale focused on Goemon THE bloodiest entry into the whole Lupin III franchise, but works amazingly well as a yakuza/samurai drama. Plus Fujiko taking a massive bong hit came out of nowhere and cracked me up good.
