Lucky Night

Fun and short romantic comedy.

Myrna Loy meets Robert Taylor on a park bench and they have a heavenly night where everything goes right. The carefree spirit leads them to get married. Then comes the average day where there's rent to pay and no play. Taylor still wants to rebel, but Loy want the safety of a home.... Lucky Night (1939) is a very playful and free spirited, almost poetic film about life... then comes the conclusion. The conservative, responsible conclusion, and the whole enjoyable experience feels tame.
