Lover Come Back

VERY funny and entertaining. Rock and Doris are great together, full of charm. Script is actually very clever and tongue-in-cheek, and the actors revel in it.

This was a very fun romp (especially with the boss who was going to therapy), but in the end felt uneven in the romantic relationship part. The ending was disappointing to me.

Has some charm, but overall not good.

Doris day at her comic best - some of her face gestures alone made me crease up. Worked superbly with rock Hudson. Definitely worth its oscar nomination.

one of the few romantic comedies from its era that is still worth watching. the real prize here is a great story and tony randall, the writing in this story is just begging to be remade for today unfortunately even a modern remake wouldnt be able to live up to rock, doris, and tony.
