Love on a Budget

Never heard of the Jones Family movie series which ran between 1936-1940, so this middle release becomes my introduction to the screen family that lasted 17 film. And right off I can sense it's a Blondie type "sitcom", though it predates the more famous comic series. Simple family humor with very gender oriented problems of husbands and wives and their domestic issues. Very much prefer Blondie as this one didn't come across as charming, though does deliver some frustrating giggles.
