All points go to George Hamilton for at least trying and all negative points for Robert Kaufman for proving to me as a nine-year-old kid that disco, not Dracula, was the true devil.

Slow beginning, but the movie picks up about halfway through. Overall I liked it and found it enjoyable and frequently funny; the characters of Renfield (Dracula's servant) and Rosenberg, Dracula's rival, were my favorites. Rosenburg especially had a lot of the funniest scenes.

Painfully unfunny. I'm not sure if this just hasn't aged well or if this has always been lame.

Saw it so long ago I can't help but wonder how it would stand up if I saw it now...

Guilty pleasure. Terribly dated, with some annoyingly racist moments. Other moments are pure gold. George Hamilton may surprise you with how charming and funny--and poignant--he can be. Susan Saint James is very good as the goofball model; she's naive, tough, messed up, and resilient. Hamilton and Saint James are sweet together in an odd way. Richard Benjamin and Arte Johnson are both irritating and hilarious.

George wasn't quite as aerodynamic as I had hoped here.

Silly but popular Dracula spoof with Hamilton surprisingly good in a film-long Lugosi imitation. Johnson (as Renfield) is great and there are some very funny moments ("What do you want from him, blood?"), but some unfortunate racist and sexist stereotypes cheapen the overall effectiveness.

This is one of those movies that I loved as a kid and haven't seen in 20 years. I might very well hate it today, but I sure did love vampire George Hamilton back in the day. So I'll go halfway with this one.

I loved this movie as a kid, and some lines from it still echo in my head permanently ("with you it is never a quickie . . . it is always a longie." and "black chicken!") but really, it's kind of a stupid movie.

Charming and funny, with excellent characters and performances (from George Hamilton, Richard Benjamin, and Susan Saint James). Note that the music has been changed on the DVD version. In the original, George Hamilton and Susan Saint James dance to "I Love the Nightlife", but this music has been replaced with another song on DVD, negatively affecting the scene (and the movie). But also note: apparently the song does appear on the more recently released Blu-ray.
