Top badass moment? Alex's father looks exactly like John Bercow. Sadly, I didn't learn much about Romania watching this film, other than everyone carries everything about, especially duvets, in large, see-through plastic bags. But I enjoyed the ending, nice and realistic. And the ear-piercing. I was at a party once where some very drunk people did it to a guy; I’d never seen someone literally turn white before. 1 black cat (totally convincing as a scared kitten). No chainsaws or decapitations.

A very strong movie making. The story was challenging and the whole thing kept going almost till the end. The acting and directing in the very end lost it's grip badly but otherwise nice job. Though there was some low moments on the story, the perfect flow coped it anyway. Tudor Giurgiu did it professionally. Ioana Barbu was a splitting image of Isabelle Huppert in The Lacemaker.
