Very extraordinary, very different, and very fresh approach at romantic movies. This one makes you laugh, weep and leave you puzzled on some occasions. The end is top knotch as well. The movie has its flaws, but it's a funny ride!

I'm not impressed by the story. It's childish and not really deep. The ending was really disappointing. It's no more than average.

Hell yeah, this movie is kickass. Marion Cotillard is cute as a button and she has great chemistry with Canet. The ending is terrible though but I still enjoyed everything up to that.

There was a lot I liked in this film, unfortunately the two main characters were both horrible and idiotic.

My favorite film of all time. It has everything I love about film and it is all done very, very well. Everything about this film is beautiful. The story, the cinematography, the editing, the characters, the language, the dialogue, their relationship, the music, etc, etc. I love this film. Nothing I have ever seen compares to this.

It is probably the movie more entertaining, emotional and frenzied in recent times. An unhealthy relationship, a strange end, but a film of great sensitivity.

It trips in more than a few places, however when it hits, it provides some simply unforgettable moments.

A welcome addition of a film about love, but not quite your usual comedy. It dares (ha) to be unashamedly romantic but it also carries a very mean, almost perverse tone throughout. Former animator Samuell delivers this package in a frantic pace, which hurts the material a bit. It's as if the film is somehow so anxious to go on to the next bit that it doesn't enjoy the pleasures we do get. Still, its wondrous moments make up for the lulls and Philippe Rombi's gorgeous score ties it all perfectly.

I feel a bit guilty about rating this so high, but I can't really help it. A wildly engaging, inventive and unpredictable story, a superb musical score, the occasional french surrealism and incredible acting is only some of the things that make this film probably the best romantic comedy ever. Honestly, what more can you want? I can see that many people think the two main characters are horrible, but frankly I don't see it that way. My ultimate guilty pleasure.

Awarded French romantic movie is must to watch as we know, French know everything about romance. Great works from Yann Samuell's directorial debut. Movie is visually very beautiful and the romantic side is strongly presented.

One of the silliest movies about couple of the silliest people. Frequently usage of transitations kinda look like a Adobe After Effects online lessons :) . It was a sweet movie when i was a teen and in love with another . But now from more mature perspective , this movie is full with terrible morals and abused visual courses imo. My previous score were 74 Cast of the movie and very visualy progressive editing kinda sugar coats the movie. The Movie's itself is kinda bad or at least average

'Jeux d'enfants' is certainly not what I expected. It's got all the adorability and charm you might expect from a French film about a kids' dare game, but layered with dark undertones from the get-go. This isn't your typical romcom - it's more of a beautifully shot and wonderfully acted story of the depths to which one person can penetrate your life - for good or for bad. A gripping and enchanting story throughout. My only gripe is the melodramatic ending.

Quite interesting until the end. A complete rip off of Amelie. I guess there was a period in French cinema where every movie was trying to be Amelie. The premise soon became a little stale. And the ultimate climax predictable. But the ending was one of those trying to be original and ending up absurd and nonsensical types of endings. However some very sweet and nice moments.

This film is very, very French. It's a romantic comedy, of sorts. The thing is, the lead characters are pretty much horrible people. They're selfish, cruel sociopaths, really. And I can see why that would put people off. It didn't really bother me though. I didn't always like the characters, but they made for an interesting movie. I thought it was good to see a romance film where the characters weren't that likeable, if just for the fact that it's not very common.

I really liked the end in concrete. Only one serious thing about this movie that really bothers me are those shitty Peugeots(lead's and of pursuing policemen ones, 207 I guess) doing ! 210 km/h !, then crashing 20 cm into a truck and blowing up Michael Bay Style. Sorry, you lost me there mate, that's ridiculous exaggeration and it's not acceptable by my standarts for romantic movie :). Did I mention that I dislike romantic movies? That's why < 90.

love stories that challenge their viewers, shake them, and absolutely stun them are rare. love stories that challenge the viewers who seek challenging movies however... those, I thought, were nonexistant. apparently, I needed to watch jeux d'enfants to form that thought. jeux d'enfants is a unique movie, smart and beautiful, childish and deep, and most imporant of all, alive all the way through. the acting is brilliant, the writing is stunning and the movie is just plain beautiful.

Adorable movie. The adult versions of Sophie and Julien are perfect together on screen. Clever humour, and a delight to watch. I unfortunately wasn't terribly fond of the ending--aside from that, loved it.
