Düğünlü bir filmdi. Anne iyi bir kadındı.

What a refreshing change to experience a Rom-Com that is set firmly in (grim) reality, without the farce and stupidity that mars so many mainstream efforts. OK, it's not laugh out loud funny, but it is gentle, charming, honest and amusing, and Brosnan and Dyrholm just light up the screen. I dont think the film has anything significant to "say", it is not trying to be deep and meaningful; it simply tells a story about a group of people coming together and learning some truths about themselves.

A bit like Mamma Mia without the music.

Granded, I saw this on an airplane with a crying child in my arms (What can I say, I like to keep my movie watching experiences interesting and new) so my heart perhaps wasn't 100% in it. But, Bier's "italian vacation posing as moviemaking" is exactly as horribly clichéd and painful as the trailer suggested. One redeeming scene though was when Brosnan told Paprika Steen that she was the most horrible person, he'd ever met. I liked that part.

Surprisingly enjoyable with excellent acting performances by the leads.

Saw this for Bier, was reminded how much I like Trine Dyrholm, and how little regard I have for Brosnan. As for the film, I consider it a disappointment. Love seems to be primarily in reference to romantic love, which would be fine except that the filmmakers' idea of love seems pretty shallow. True love doesn't seem to require much in the way of sacrifice, but it is cool with Italian villas and newfound attentiveness.

I thought this was good. Not great, but good. Susanne Bier sets up a cute little film with some absolutely beautiful Danish women. The one thing I can give this movie credit for is informing me about fruit. I learned more about Lemons and Oranges than I ever though I would from a Romantic Comedy. The setting is romantic and beautiful, set in Italy. It makes me want to go back and see it again. Some really touching and funny moments. It's just a little on the long side. Still worth a watch.

Predictable, silly and clichéd. But due to the charm of Dyrholm and especially Brosnan it actually is a sweet romance.

Breezy English/Danish romantic drama that sparkles and glistens like white wine in the Italian sun. Pierce Brosnan's effortless charisma is in great supply.

Harmless, tedious, and cliched.
