A Emilio Fernández creation that probable lacked a big diva to find it's focus. Sure, Pedro Infante crosses paths with some intriguing ladies, but the focus was more on his hardship than a sparkling light to make Los islas Marias (1951) more interesting. For this was more one of Emilio Fernández's uneven works. Good in several places, but not consistent throughout.
