Lonely Wives

Farce comedy with Edward Everett Horton in dual roles. Himself and an actor made out to look like him to fool his mother in-law while he's out having fun with a girl. Then his wife comes home as a surprise..... and it's on! Horton was maybe a little light on his acting. Might work for a comedy, but it didn't raise the impression. Laura La Plante all drunk however was adorable! Maude Eburne as the mother in-law was good too. So overall a entertaining piece and good for a few laughs.
