Little Soldier

This film wastes no time getting to the point. Through a woman doing man's work, to a woman in prostitution, gender issues are shoved in our face without too much subtlety. Furthermore, the characters are more stereotypical than they are deep or original. The whole thing is not very organic. Nevertheless, the story is fast-paced and entertaining enough, and Trine Dyrholm does a stellar job in the role of messed-up tomboy heroine.
