See! Kidnapping can be a cute thing! Judy Garland and her pal Freddie Bartholomew kidnap her mama Mary Astor so that she won't marry the local banker. Out on the caravan trip they meet free-living Walter Pidgeon, and so the courting starts. And it's a easy going film with some skunks thrown in to stink up the place. Listen, Darling is nothing remarkable in Garland's portfolio. She sings a few forgettable songs and it's more the adults that grab the attention here, but it's a okay time filler.
