Lightning Bryce

Lightning Bryce (1919), a 15-Episode 5 hour western serial with the popular silent cowboy Jack Hoxie! A bit much with a 5 hour western, but it starts out rather good with some exciting cliffhangers the first few episodes. Sadly it doesn't manage to keep up the spectacular action in the later stages of this series, but overall it's a good serial from the late-1910s. Most interesting was the main baddie Paul Hurst. Hurst also did double-duty directed this. Not bad work at all.
