a movie that features corey haim desperately trying to get laid AND jon grissom feels weird, sad and fucked up. not even heather graham's feisty 80s perm could save the day. but it was a close call.

It is a film about risks and despite having a predictable end, is a fun classic teen film of the 80s.

Just not all that good, which is a shame because the poster promises a pretty good time. There was potential for it to be a lot of things, but it tries to be all of them at once & that's kinda what makes it fall flat. Heather Graham gets next to nothing to do, Corey Feldman's character is an insufferable ass, & Haim's character just isn't that interesting or likeable. Lots of subplots that amount to nothing. A few fun jokes & callbacks, but not quite enough of them. Not a dud, but not great.

If this movie got any more 80s, it would have James Avery and Richard Masur acting like cartoon dads, both Coreys acting like teenage idiots, a drunk girl passed out in a trunk, and Corey Haim driving off in a Cabriolet with a puffy-haired Heather Graham while Billy Ocean blares in the background. Oh wait.

I love the 80's. And the Coreys.

Maybe the best Corey's movie outside Lost Boys. So... not that good.

Pretty much brainless fun with some very over the top silly moments. Carol Kane has great comedic timing like always.
